Brit's ponies |
|
My first two..both in progress. |
The pony on the right is my absolute first attempt at customizing. I didn't rehair her, I tried to dye her tail
purple and green. It didn't work as well as I wanted it to! I might try to rehair her after I receive some new
hair in the mail. She was made with a Mardi Gras/Vegas showgirl theme. I couldn't decide! The black pony
on the left is made with a fancy evening theme. I have also repainted her eyes, unlike the first pony. I love
her and I can't wait to add her new locks! Both ponies were painted with acrylic paint, professional quality.
They will be sealed with Matte painting varnish for acrylics. Designs are also on the opposite side of the ponies, but
my sister only had a couple of pictures available in her digital camera. I haven't named them yet. You can email
me suggestions if you'd like. :).

Alli's Ponies |
|
Both of these are still in the works..will post finished ones soon. |
The pony on the left is my first custom ever--her base coat was inspired by a bright orange stucco
building, so I've blended orange with a hint of red, yellow, and a thin layer of gold. I kept her symbol simple, and
used a real--not plastic--blue crystal. On her forehead is a stylized sun, and her eyes have been reworked to contain
a mix of blue and green. I'm still not satisfied with her yet... As for the pony on the right, I'm customizing
her to a Celtic theme. Her base coat is a mix of dark and light green (with a hint of blue for added depth).
I plan on dusting her with a light layer of gold for more interest. A simple Celtic design graces her forehead; her
eyes are completely reworked to include a base of yellow with gold accents. I plan on rehairing her with gold
and dark green hair. Both ponies are painted in acrylics, and will be covered with a matte varnish. Neither have
been named as of yet!
